HO HO HO... Oh no! Is it time for the 2022 Holiday Card already!?!
Keeping it brief again this year, although you can find more details in the photo captions.
Is it almost 2023? This year seemed to fly by. After a year of being cooped up, we got out a bit
this year. We took multiple trips to Atlanta as well as visits with Teresa's family in San Antonio,
and a much-needed vacation to Spain for our 20th anniversary.
Andrew's Dad, Jack, had an operation in February which compromised his balance. Unfortunately, he
fell shortly thereafter on a carpeted floor, but it was enough to knock him unconscious. After a stay
in the hospital and a nursing home, with lots of help, we were able to find a lovely facility for him
at The Terraces
at Peachtree Hills Place. He is very well cared for there, although he sure makes it
be known he'd rather be home with Ellen, but that is unfortunately not possible with his current
progress and medical needs.
Andrew is still working full time for the same company in Pueblo. The company changed names from TTCI to
MxV Rail, moved out of its home of 40 some years, and
is building tracks and facilities between their two new locations: a building next to the Pueblo airport
as well PuebloPlex (soon-to-be the former Army's
Pueblo Chemical Depot). Teresa's business (TandaCAD)
has been busier than she would like. She is now very selective in which projects she takes. She is trying
to slow down, semi-retire, and concentrate on her art
(available here). Lastly, we are
pivoting our Pueblo property's cottage to a fully furnished short term (3-6 month) rental, as we just
couldn't find reliable help to turn it over as an AirBnB.
We hope this finds you well, and.....
May the Universe smile on all of you with Peace and
Happiness!
Teresa and Andrew
