Koransky Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients
- 3 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c pumpkin (1 can usually)
- 1 c Wesson oil (or canola, etc..)
- 2/3 c water
- 3 1/2 c flour2 t baking soda
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1 t nutmeg
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 t clove (optional, I do not recommend this)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Place the following in a BIG mixing bowl:
- 3 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c pumpkin (1 can usually)
- 1 c Wesson oil (or canola, etc..)
- Alternate:
- 2/3 c water
- 3 1/2 c flour
- 2 t baking soda
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1 t nutmeg
- 1 t cinnamon
- Optional:
- 1 t clove (I do not recommend this)
- Blend it all together, Bake 1 hr at 350 F. Makes two nice sized loaves.
Note: I am very upset... I just found this exact recipe from the internet and
apparently it is from "an older Pillsbury Cookbook".
