2006-08-10 Petersbug, AK 07

Our next port is Petersburg. We went thru some beautiful narrows to get there. We only had two hours in port and the town was a mile from the ferry, so people were in a rush to get off the ship. We were told about a pizza place, Papa Bear's, that had pretty good pizza and was near the dock. Well, we found out as we went ashore, it had moved into town. As we were walking the mile to the restaurant, we called to order our pizza so it would be ready when we go there. We got ahead of the crowd of others from the ferry and had a great pizza!
