2006-08-28 Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada 152

We drove into Banff National Park and towards Lake Louise and felt the beginning of Labor Day weekend. We stopped at several beautiful overlooks and noted the increase in traffic. We stopped and did a short hike to Peyto Lake, a beautiful turquoise blue and milky with glacial flour. We found the overlook so crowded with tourists we could barely see it. I'm not sure which is worse, the isolation or the crowds.
